Our approach
Security is part of how we deliver, not a separate step
Most of our work happens inside systems that hold confidential information: case files, client records, health data, and financials. We treat access to those systems as a privilege, and we plan every project so your data is exposed to as few people, tools, and copies as possible.
BRIO is SOC 2 compliant, so the controls behind our work are independently audited. Our commitments are also written into your agreement: every engagement runs under a Master Services Agreement and a Work Order that cover confidentiality, data handling, and how incidents are reported.
Our team includes former lawyers and law firm staff, so attorney-client privilege and confidentiality obligations are familiar ground, not a checklist item.
Every engagement includes
- SOC 2 compliant controls
- A signed NDA before we see confidential information
- A Business Associate Agreement for HIPAA-covered work
- Named accounts with access limited to the project
- Development and testing in sandboxes, not production
- Validated test loads before any data migration
How we protect your data
Security practices on every project
Your data stays in your systems
We build inside your Salesforce, Litify, or cloud environment, so data stays in systems you own and control. We avoid local copies and spreadsheets passed around by email.
Least-privilege access
Each BRIO team member uses a named account with only the permissions the work requires, and access is removed when it is no longer needed.
Safe, controlled changes
New work is built and tested in sandboxes, reviewed, and released through a planned deployment. Production is never where we experiment.
Careful data migrations
Migrations follow a documented data map, test loads, and validation checks, with a planned cutoff so nothing is lost or duplicated at go-live.
Confidentiality in writing
NDAs, Business Associate Agreements, and your MSA define what we can access, how we handle it, and how quickly we notify you if something goes wrong.
Responsible AI
When we build with AI, your data stays inside the tools and governance rules you approve, and AI features are designed with the same care as the rest of your system.
